can anyone help with info for crown 3 wheel cb sc3016 ser 8a201881 1997 at moment have no power steering no fault code, possibly pressure switch in circuit but need info

I guess your truck has fitted ZAPI B1 controller for traction and HP controller for hydarulics and steer functions. If so Leon is right, There is an encoder in the steering colum and send signals to the encoder module. This encoder module send (+) signal to pin E8 in HP controller for steering.

I think there is an encoder on the main steer shaft. This will send a signal to probably a zapi unit which will turn on the steering. You could probably check this by plugging a zapi handset in the pump controller. Sorry info is vage, its been a while since i worked on one of these machines. im sure someone else will have some additional or more precise info.
