Discussion:
Error Codes

We have a Cat EP18KT, Serial# ETB5B01334. While driving it will just shut down and display shows errors 17-27-60-61-66. If you let it sit for 15-20 minutes then it will operate for another hour or so. Battery brand new & fully charged & clean. Any help with diagnosis would help (no books).

Ran through diag. Wiring & contactor, they check out ok. Close inspection of reman logic board and found terminal C2-61 burnt clean through just behind board connector. Thanks for the advice.

if you have a book you will see the possible causes for code 41
they are a faulty regen contactor, or faulty wiring associated with it's circuit, or faulty logic card.

being that the one you got from the cat dealer has been opened from the sounds of it i would not trust it. Take it back and make them give you one that has not been opened. Sounds like they gave you one that was put back on the shelf to me.

Ok, Have a book & a reman. logic board from my Cat dealer(ESD packaging was opened & box taped shut). Set the default settings, then set the voltage trim pot. Now it's popping up an error code 41, regen. code
