Thanks for info.

Hello Bobby,
Yes, we'd be happy to send you our curriculum. The icon with your message appears to be a narrow aisle electric. It that the subject of your training materials? As you can see by the syllabus, ours deals exclusively with gaseous (either propane or natural gas) fuel systems. If this is of interest we'll share!
Bill
Hi

Evaluation of students incoming and exit competencies will be measured and demonstrated in classroom pre-tests and post-tests and hands-on lab activities.
Objectives: Upon completion of the course, students will:
* Understand differences between gasoline and gaseous fuel systems
* Understand various types of alternative fuels
* Identify their properties and handling characteristics
* Discuss the most common hazards associated with fuels.
* Identify the health signs of air contamination
* Explain the theory and operation of various fuel induction systems
* Understand combustion chemistry and resultant exhaust emissions

Resources:
The primary text for the course is: PERC Forklift Maintenance and Training Manual. Additional references include: NFPA 58, various industry supplements, (i.e., OEM parts/training catalogs, etc.).
Prerequisites:
While there are no mandatory prerequisites, it is recommended that the students have a basic mechanical knowledge and familiarization of gaseous fuels and fuel systems. A general automotive background is also advantageous. Additional certifications may include the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) tests A6 and A8.
Competence:

HI
Thanks very much for your reply, the technology sounds very good. But I dont know if its the type I need.
I am looking for training material for training operators and instructors not maintenance training.
I would like to have a ore- view of your training package if possiable, because maybe one of my friends
may find it usefull.
Best Regards
The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) in the United States has developed a curriculum specifically for forklift Fuel system Emission and Maintenance Training. It meets all of the requirments you listed: student and instructor manuals, PowerPoint presentations, handouts and additional resource material.
If this is of interest we would be happy to transfer this technology to your program.
