Engine

Have the option of buying a Toyota 02-FG30 Forktruck for very small money.I believe its a mid 1980's model. It's a very clean machine, looks very well. It's not running, and i'm told the head gasket is gone.Has no starter on it either.I need to know will a starter from some common make of car or van be compatible with this machine,or would the engine be replaceable with a commonly found one? I know the one thats on it is a duel fuel gas/petrol.

I would use Industrial parts for lift trucks. Automotive parts don't seem to take the abuse. Your Truck has a Toyota 5P engine. Head gasket kit #04112-96101 Stater(new Style) 28100-2550-71.
Most Forklift shops can get these parts. Good Luck
