Discussion:
Curtis model 901RB series battery discharge indicators

We have an ongoing problem with these Curtis BDIs that are private labeled for Linde. There are the style with the 10 LEDs.
What happens is that they get electronically stuck on a particular LED and will not change. It is absolutely a problem with the BDI and not the truck or the battery.
We have plugged several different batteries into the truck and the LED position won't change. We have charged each battery and still the LED position won't change.
The only thing that has worked is disconnecting wires at the BDI and putting the BDI into another truck.

What gives?!

Replying to my own thread in hopes that someone has had similar problems and has come up with an answer.
We have sent a BDI to Curtis who tested it and said that there was nothing wrong with it.
We are still having ongoing problems with these. On some BDI's, you can charge the battery forever and the BDI will not change. Take the exact same BDI and plug it into another battery and again it will not change.
