Discussion:
Carbon monoxide levels from propane forklifts

Our Nissan propane forklift has 12,000 hrs on it and it has started to emit high levels of carbon monoxide. We have taken it out of service and we are having it serviced by technicians. The technicians seem not to be able to bring the level down to acceptable levels. What are the acceptable levels to be safe for our employees.

i believe if you put a CO Analyzer on it it should be between.5-.7 % , i believe this is what OSHA recommends. This is what i shoot for when doing Exhaust analyis with my Blanke 2500 analyzer.

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
