to avoid effects the humidity , the temperature must be always equal. Put a hot air fan with a themostat when with excess the temperature cut the hot air.

I had a customer a few years ago that used reach trucks in a deep freezer but would then charge them outside on the loading dock. Needless to say, in Houston heat and humidity, the trucks would be sitting in a lake in less than 30 minutes. The onlt thing that worked was spraying all circuit boards with Corrosion Block (I think it was made by Certified Labs) and coating the connections with dielectric grease. No more problems after that.

all these are good, and "must do", I would add that you should put a dab of dielectric grease on the all the connectors and to use only clear RTV silicone, I am willing to swear the black and red have made me loose hair on some **** built Electrics in an ice cream plant in Miami. Make sure all the "heaters" work, and let them run when the truck is out of the freezer for less than 15 min even in high outside temps, it will hasten the drying or preventing of sweat on the switch areas.

I have treated trucks like cold storage in high humidity and temp environments. All connectors are packed with silicone, and electrical connections teh same way. most boards are sealed, if not, add a dab of silicone and spread it over..

Thanks again bjarte. I can try it, but am worried the controller will overheat because of the when the unit is not in the cold storage.

have used it a lot in cold storage -30 degree inside 17 degree outside send a mail and I can send picture of a truck fisch industri modified.

would take a layer with thin plastic mat to cover electronic too make a sheald ( the same material as in the window at tents it is 1mm thick and it is wery flexible and you can see trou it.

Thanks bjarte. The cold storage is at 7degrees with 90% humidity, but outside the temperature can go up to 32 degrees celsius! Very hot. This is the main problem. The unit has to work both inside the cold storage facility and outside. The truck is a Clark EPX25.

Hi, in nothern contry we use heating cable same as used on side mirror on trucks is a thin mat, mutch used in cold store environments also in fisch industri with thin plastic cover to ceep the wather outside.
