Discussion:
Hyundai Reach Truck accelerator lever

Hi, I have a customer who has had to replace several accelerator handles on his HBR15-7 reach trucks. They are operating on smooth floors and taking long runs. The only unusual condition at this plant is excessive ambient temperature. The accelerator part number is 21FP-78342 and the ComeSys number is 82413.
The customer had sent a couple of these to an electronics rebuilder and claims that one of the transistors was fatiguing at the legs and breaking loose. I did notice that one of the position sensors is positioned at the top of the board and the body overhangs and is epoxied into the aluminum housing of the accelerator.
Has anyone else experienced repeated failures of this accelerator assembly and what if anything, was done to correct it? Thanks...

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
