Discussion:
Trouble Codes...

Hey there, when jumping the pigtail harness on the truck, with the engine light on the dash I'm getting 1 flash, then 3 flashes, and it repeats. Would that make it codes 1 and 3, or code 13? Does anyone know what these codes are? The truck has a hesitation when first applying throttle and has high emission readings. Thanks.

We ripped off the old Aisan system and put an Aisan to Impco conversion kit on. Cheapest way to go about it. We were starting to think it was the regulator that was shot, and it was big money.

So through browsing the forums here, I was able to figure out I had codes 1 and 3. I also was able to clear code 1, and found that code 3 was broken wires at the vacuum sensor. There was 1 wire that was stripped but not off completely. We disconnected the battery to clear the code and fixed the wire, reconnected the battery and now it seems to run worse. And now when jumping the harness, the engine light flashes continuously. Does that just mean the harness is jumped, or does it mean something else?
