Yale OS030EC- Steering has timed out.

Serial # is C801N01668Y- The chain came off of the steering, customer put it back on and now the steering motor will not come on. After about 15 seconds the message on the display is "steering has timed out". Any advice?

Check the proximity switch on the master drive unit, make sure when the chain came off it did not damage the switch or the wiring. Also , the chain does not normally fall off, something had to cause this. Check the drive unit and see if it turns freely without the chain connected, make sure it is not binding.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
