NO THROTTLE

INTERMITTANT PROBLEM. SOMETIMES NO THROTTLE RESPONSE AT ALL. DRIVER SHUTS TRUCK OFF, RESTARTS & EVERYTHING IS FINE FOR A WHILE THEN IT ALLL HAPPENS AGAIN ANY IDEAS?

this kind of depends on the serial number series of the unit, and if it has any malfunction codes in the emissions systems, but a quick "WAG" would be that the accelerator pedal is pushing the sensor (pot) past it's normal stop point. Does the pedal bend when a big guy steps on it? is it happening at top speed, or maximum acceleration? Or just when does this happen?
