COIL PAK TROUBLE

WORKING ON HYSTER S60FT F187V SERIAL WITH 2.4L GM VORTEC ENGINE. INSTALLED NEW COIL BUT NO SPARK. INSTALLED COIL FROM SIMILAR UNIT AND 3 OF 4 SPARK PLUGS HAVE SPARK. INSTALLED SECOND USED COIL FROM ANOTHER SIMILAR UNIT AND EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT. DO THESE COILS HAVE TO BE CONFIGURED IN ANY WAY? REMEMBER, THE FIRST AND SECOND USED COILS WERE PULLED FROM RUNNING TRUCKS YET ONE OF THEM MALFUNCTIONED WHEN INSTALLED ON THE FORKLIFT THAT IS DOWN. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED.
