Discussion:
suddenly no dash display and nothing working

Just replaced upper steer knuckle bearings, turned key on and nothing happens, except backup alarm works in reverse with key on. Can get the indicators on the dash to glow by feathering the battery connector on and off, then everything works fine except the display. Unit will work as long as the display indicators stay glowing. No codes shown with hand set. Battery fairly new at 100% charge. Yale ERC050RGN48TE082 Ser# E108V18271A. Unit has GE SX Controller. Display was replaced 3 years ago, quit working causing unit to fail. Any known problems with these displays, or are there any safety switches hidden? Seat switch was bypassed & same problem. Thanks.

What was the issue? I had a similar intermittent problem with a Hyster E50Z
