Discussion:
Replace the old controller of a truck with a Curtis controller

I would like to know if I can replace the old (damaged) controller of an electric forklift truck or pallet truck, with a new one (Curtis or else). Of coarse I have to change all the wiring, the potensiometer e.t.c. But the question is if there is compatibility between a new Curtis sepex controller with the existing traction motor of the truck and if this is a reliable solution at the end... Do you know if there is a good provider for those controllers?

The first part of the question reguarding upgading old to new is somthing that can be done , for example you could take an old EV-100 system , and replace it with a curtis 1104 , it would take some time but it would work.

sepex motors require a sepex controller. a/c motors require an A/C controller. series wound motors require a series wound motor controller.
the brand is not as important as the way it works.
