Discussion:
Hyundai 25L-7A throttle not responding

2017 Hyundai 25L-7A just over 3k hrs having issue with the pedal response. Unit starts right up, forward/reverse work, all hydraulic functions work. Engine light on but don't have ability to check codes. Pressing the pedal multiple times i get a slight rev increase but not by much but when I continue to press on/off the revs continue to increase until it sounds like full throttle. All fluid have been checked and pedal connector. Throttle body and pedal have been replaced. It seems like it needs the pedal calibrated. I have tried to get codes with pedal dance but not sure if it detects the 3 presses after switch on. I only get a constant on/off engine light flash every 5-6 seconds non stop. Is it possible to calibrate it without software? Thanks

Fact of the week
Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
