I'm looking at a Clark C500 Y40 with a bad motor and the owner don't know what it has. It's been sitting for a few years. The oil filter says 3674 hrs. written on it at last change. Price is right but are there parts available.

Thanks for the reply. I finally had time to go look at it yesterday and am going to pass it had a lot wrong that the seller didn't mention. Thanks again
They are still available although expensive
All state ag parts has rebuilding kits
Seals etc around 250 but that's just for the gaskets and seals have you ever rebuilt one ?
It is a wet sleeve engine that has a balancer bolted to the bottom of the engine by the main bearing cap it has a gear that drives it from timing gears I always took it off and tapped the holes and put short bolts in the holes it is there in case you want to make it a diesel
I have done several in the past when you knock out the sleeves they have o rings on them when you replace them use anti freeze as lube not grease !
Thanks for the reply. Its not a Flathead. The valve cover says Clark Equipment. How hard would it be to get Waukesha parts?
Probably a D-155 G Waukesha
If it has a flat head it is a continental 226
Clark used Waukesha in a lot of those older units
