Discussion:
Setting truck type with Judith

Hi all. What happens when I change out an AS4812 + F controller.

From what I can glean from different posts and the service manual I would replace the controller (not sure if I can use any of the three types in any position - 1FU, 2FU or 1.1FU).

Is the 1FU etc. defined by internal programming or do they all run the same firmware and are differenciated by the parameters that I would set. I image they know which physical role each one takes by the canbus connector?

I'm pretty sure I need to change an eeprom on one of the controllers so I'm trying to get a clear idea of how it works before I begin surgery ! Thanks in advance for any light anyone can shed on this.

Basically 1u and 1.1U are interchangable and are for controllibg left and right travel motors. Officially when ordering new controller you have to add machine S/N, so they send you one with correct firmware version. I've seen clients buy from ebay with matching part no on controller, but that number more times than not does not match catalouge part no. Installing is usually quite straightforward, be sure to reset all to defaults and set correct truck type sometimes a bigger reset may be in order when you can't get parameters to match 1=1 on both controllers and you need to reset steering teach in(judit has info in teach in window) replacing lift controller is easier, as it's independent of travel configuration parity.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
