Jerks hard in forward and reverse

So we just got our forklift back from getting repaired because it wouldn't engage forward or reverse. Now after spending over 4k and having parts replaced that didn't need it it now jerks in forward and reverse. It's almost to the point of throwing you off. I took the side panel off and the connector that engages for forward and reverse makes contact then disengages then re-engages rapidly. To me it seems like it's not getting a constant power feed.
