Lift cylinder problems

Hello. Just bought a 1998 cgc25. After about 2 ft of lifting roughly 2000lbs off the ground, the secondary cylinders start raising up and the main cylinder starts bleeding down. Can someone please tell my if it's the main cylinder or spool valve or any other ideas? Thank you.

Ok great. I'm changing the small valve with a spring at the bottom of the piston in the middle. Hopefully this is what you are talking about.

The "Safety" Valve is normally mounted Outside the Cylinder. " Anti Burst Valve."
The "Sequencing or Lowering" Valve are normally mounted at the Bottom side of the Piston on the Center or Free Lift Cylinder. ( Inside) the Cylinder.

Are you talking about the safety valve inside piston?

Wel, Normally this points to the "Sequencing" Valve in the Free Lift Cylinder. It is Blocked Open or Broken. You normally have to take the cylinder apart to inspect it.

I would say it is the main lift cylinder. Make sure there is no binding of the carriage in the channel. If there is well then that is the problem.

The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
