Discussion:
Hyster Electric forklift won’t stay running

My Hyster electric forklift works just fine but it has a small issue. key runs for 15 sec and dies with no sound. The lift works good but if I stop for 15 sec it dies and requires a rest, meaning turn the key off then on to get going. Also, when I am resting the lift Number 1 is displayed, and sometimes number 2 is displayed. Any help resolving this issue is very appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds like SRO (static return to off)
What that's means is if lift hasn't moved in a few seconds or minutes depending on setting
Then the system will shut down requiring operator to put lever in neutral then back to direction the next time it does it go into neutral then back to direction you need
