Discussion:
OSHA safety stuff and wiring

I own an old forklift (Hyster J30XM serial number ends in 1717S so 1990s?
It has run for 4 years with no issues. We have an insurance company that came in and audited us. It was a friendly audit and we are working through the safety issues. The forklift needs a seatbelt (on the way) lights (remounted the originals but not lighting) a backup "horn or noise maker" and a stobe light. I think Hyster was smart enough to have all these things supported in the wiring harnnes, but I would like a wiring diagram. Where can I find one??? Also, I think the backup horn may be installed but unplugged - where want it originally mounted? last thing, on the roll cage, there is a flat area (Strobe?) But where did that wiring run?
