Discussion:
Transmission not going in reverser

Hello!
I am working on a Heli LP lift truck model CPYD20-TY with a GM 3.0L engine and the transmission will not engage into reverse. I hear back up alarm come on but to action from trany. I replaced the solenoid valve that sits on top of transmission valve body because someone else has previously ordered it, but it did not make a difference. Trouble i have is that i have no info on the transmission or schematic for elec. circuit related to it.
Fist question is if anyone can share any info needed, and secondly, any ideas what may be causing failure?
Thanks.

First of all check voltages going to those solenoids , secondly forward/reverse lever , those units have 5 wiring , 3 is for direction and 2 for back buzzer sound, and wiring sometimes upon build those wires are struck between dashboard assembly , and corosion between connectors
