Discussion:
steer and drive

unit will drive but no steering while driving / solenoids open but appears no flow while driving.
go to neutral and steer works fine.

all other functions are good.
only has an issue steering while driving forward or reverse.

batteries are new like brand new and the handle was swapped from another unit.

any ideas?

The easiest way to repair is hook up gauge to system pressure quick disconnect port. Crank up system pressure to specific top pressure. But won't fix completely. Skyjacks are designed with the focus of hydraulic fluid to start at drive then steer. So the path of least resistance is drive.

What did you find to be the issue with this unit? Having same issue on one. I suspect a pressure issue.

Check your system pressure..if correct..Vickers valves could be gummed up, but steer cylinder or system pressure is probably it
