Runs but does not rev up to move.

Runs but does not rev up to move. I have a propane Finde H 40 forklift That starts and runs but it will not rev up when you try any of the controls or try to move forward or back. Has anyone ever had this problem before?

Try this , as you start the lift put your foot under accelerator pedal and pull up a little this will put the acceleration pot in a lower position
When the pot gets out of the set position it starts but no acceleration if this is issue try and replace pot assy the pot was programmed st a certain value after the pedal or pot gets some wear it doesn't center by replacing pot it resets
