Strobe light shorted out, now no display on dashboard and lift will not move or do anything , anyone have any ideas what to try , other than replacing computer?

CPU supplies 15 volt for dash display. If not present send CPU in for rebuilding.

Dreamt I was fixing a machine, then came the paperwork and it turned into a nightmare.
Yes, had a forklift service company look @ it& they seem to think it's the computer
