Inching valve?

Hoping to adjust the inching valve now and not sure how to set up correctly.
(it's the separate piston type connected via linkages off the brake pedal) Single brake pedal (non monotrol)
Valve piston looks to have a couple of grooves in it for measurement purposes.
Any guidance appreciated.
