Discussion:
installed Q1 transistor, now code F5. What ya think EasiTek?

I had a hard code 23 with no traction. Replaced Q1 along with recs. I now have traction, but only drive for less than a minute when traction is losses and F5 appears. Any ideas

Did you sort this out? An old Easi can run you in the poorhouse.
You can put multiple Q1s and rec ones, system cards, power cards. Very poor system. Before changing any parts on a RayRay, you must check for shorts to frame, battery shorts and proper static strap. Remove crappy insulators from heat sink and replace they burn holes and shirt under load. Anything less than 10 thousand ohms will shirt out Q1. Test each motor
Loose power cards, CD8 cards, Transistor modules plugs loose, best to have truck jacked up, driving wheel spinning and throttle engaged. Wiggle gently on all connections..you may locate bad connections

Fact of the week
The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
