36V ERC040 No drive motor control/steering pump, mast ok

ERC040AGN36TE084
SNA814V04651W

Codes showing 03, 11

Bought it used, worked great few months, yes it's old, battery is good enough for what we do and is over 36V

when turn on main power contactor clicks on, can run mast controls, steering pump contactor doesn't close but pump is fine when override, no main drive motor power.

Looking at the machine the only "smarts" I can find that would disable these functions is the small 3x3x1" or so potted block with large multi-pin conn in the rear compartment and the function display on the dash. If anyone could point me to a schematic that would be great. Or fault code sheet with what 03, and 11 mean. Also I guess could be the GE motor controller box in rear? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Erich

Hello again Brewski,

Have yet another code. Gremlins or bad major connector somewhere or something. Anyway, if you don't mind answering, I don't mind asking. Latest Code is 15. Any idea?

I believe 93 is user defined. If it is flashing it could be a worn brush alarm in the drive motor or the pump motor.

It was the accel pedal switch. Didn't quite close. Not sure why it had a 03 code as those switches looked good and that code is now gone. Now I see a "93" code but everything is working. The 93 had come up before but no symptoms.

Thanks again,

erich

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll check those out tomorrow. Seems odd they'd both go at once but it's a good clue. Will get back with results.

Code 3 is reverse switch closed at start. Code11 Accel. pedal start switch closed a start. Make sure these two switches are open when you turn on the key switch.
