Charger

Guys. I am new here and need some help Please.
I bought a Thesi Pimespo Reach truck. It was delivered overnight and someone stole it's battery charger. I am struggling financially so I went on Ebay and found a 48v Charger cheaply and collected it and fitted the correct plugs to the charger so it could connect to the Forks.
Even though I charge for several hours the fork still flashes red as if the battery is low. The forks work fine so I'd guess this is because it is not the correct charger? Do you think so?
The charger itself shows codes that I cannot understand and I'd really like to find a manual for the charger but the plate on it has no print on so I cannot find out a brand and Google it. Is there a way I can post a photo of the charger so someone might know the monster I have purchased? The thing is huge and took 3 of us to lift onto my van!

From Admin - To see the two photos of the charger and the specifications visit http://rodgerlamb dot net/client-photo-display/ (change the "dot" for ".")

and then click on "I use this page to show client photos". Cheers Admin

Hi, don't know if this is still outstanding or not....
We can help with the truck, but not necessarily the charger. The obvious thing to check after connecting the charger is if it it actually charging the battery. To do so check either the Specific Gravity reading or voltages. Depending on the model and age of the truck the correct battery voltage may also need to be programmed into the truck to get the display panel and control system showing the correct state of battery charge. If you let me know the Model and Serial number of the Thesi truck we can possibly help.

Service life of a forklift is proportional to how well it is maintained.
