Hydraulic Reservoir Breather

Whenever I order a replacement Hydraulic tank breather ( 227121) {the big round one full of dessicant} they are now sending me a funny little blue Donaldson breather ( 7564387). Saying that it changes up?? Where does the little blue filter/breather go ?? In the dipstick hole?? Dealer isn't sure, neither am I ??

There has been a modification for the cold store spec machines - its to prevent the hydraulic tank from splitting.

The old filter assembly equipment needs to be removed & then blanked of at the filler neck using the sealing screw.

The new filter does indeed go where the dipstick is located & should be changed every 1k hours.

New parts required are:
7564387 Breather filter
7569405 Connection
7564187 Dipstick
203002 Sealing screw

Ping me a email & ill send you a copy with the info across.

Thanks. I appreciate all the help. The Donaldson breather screws right in where the dipstick goes, seems like a logical place for it, just want to be sure. Also one would obviously have to keep the dipstick in your toolbox for checking oil level when needed.
