Discussion:
Fault Code 16

I am currently experiencing trouble with a EC3500 Forklift. When I move the forward / reverse switch into either position it will move about 3 - 5 ft and then throw fault code 16. Any help with this is appreciated.

Code 16 is for the traction motor stall timer. Check your wiring and connections between the drive motor, inverter and logic. I'm willing to guess you have a bad bearing encoder (speed sensor) in the drive motor.
