Discussion:
BDI reset

Has anyone had problems with the BDI not resetting on certain lifts, but others are fine with the same battery?

The forum indicates this is a RC3000 series? That is just a quick adjustment on the Curtis BDI box under the console cover. It is a silver colored aluminum box on the right side of the truck under the console cover. Make sure you have a fully charged battery. It will not reset if it is not 80% charged volts or above. There are 2 knobs. The one that says reset, turn it down by rotating counter-clockwise. You have to spin off an outer **** before you can rotate the inner one with the arrow on it. Turn it all the way down if you have to. Then unplug the battery and plug it back in. The BDI meter should reset. Sometimes when batteries get older, they do not charge up to full potential like they used to. I love the fact that you can turn this setting down on this truck. Some of your trucks are probably set lower than others. Good luck.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
