Hi, that was the voluntary early retirement scheme that was sent out to eligible employees last week. It's not linked to roles.
At least 10% going I believe, there are too many people doing not a lot anyway so we won't notice.

Just heard Briggs want to reduce staffing levels by 30%, offering £10k inducement for people to leave, unless they are critical staff, anyone heard the same??
Could anyone tell me more on Briggs Defense? They seem to be advertising for an engineer to solely work ok their defence equipment? Is this correct or is it shared amongst all road engineers?
Also do they have any decent resident sites?

Irish lifts trucks was an old company that never changed. forklifts was only a small part of a bigger company before Briggs took it over. Different market in Ireland compared to the UK where nearly all of there business is contract hire.
