Reading codes on a Hyster 2000 H90XMS GM 4.3 LP

I have a check engine light on my forklift. I am looking to see what scan tool I need to read codes or is there a way to flash the code. Thanks for your help.

Is the year of the truck a 2000? a serial number or atleast the series part of the serial number would be a good help to be sure you get correct information.
There are not likely to be any codes until models made AFTER 2002/2003.

The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
