Discussion:
The old AL06 error...but Zapi smart console wont connect "No Communication"

Tracking down an AL06 on a truck that has an ACE2 Zapi 48V controller.

Plugged in a Zapi "Smart" Console. Trying to connect and gives "No Communication"

Truck is a 2015 BUT has less than 300 hrs. Motor checks out. Haven't ripped apart the controller but have a new one here...just not programmed...Wishing I could grab the details from the console!!

Going to try and figure this out hopefully it will help someone else. Any advice welcomed.

I had a new ACE2 but it isn't meant for this truck.

Hooked it up and now show an AL 79 (incorrect start).

I am able to CAN in with the console. Looks like the forward/reverse switch check out...as does the pedal.

I should say that I first hooked it up and got an AL85 error which I chased to A18 on the dc pump chopper. Apparently it was corroded and needed to be reattached... after that fix I got AL79.... Weirdly enough I still eventually get the AL06 showing on the display. (I programmed it to display = 0, perhaps that is why? Or perhaps there is a gremlin hiding somewhere)

I will report back.
