Discussion:
Stuck

I acquired this forklift not running. When I engage the starter, it turns slowly about one revolution and then just stops. Removed plugs, replaced battery cables. Starter get real hot fast. Engine is real clean inside. Could the trans be holding it up. I have no experience with forklifts. According to last owner, it ran about 3 weeks ago, and when he went to start it, nothing. Any ideas, help, greatly appreciated. Oh, no indication motor would be seized up, as it will move some.

Starter checked out good. Pulling motor out. I think it has spun bearings.
