Discussion:
Still EGV-14 model - AL94 - What does it means?

Hi there!

Does anyone out there mind to share the error codes manual and such for an EGV-14 model?
I´m strugling with some alarm codes shown in the machine display. The code AL 94 it is one of these, amongst others. The machine owner does not have its manual anymore.
It is being a PITA to find out the meaning of the alarms without any manufacturer´s reference. I´m almost pulling my hair out.... :-)

If anyone out there could share it, please e-mail it to me at zcad at ig dot com dot br

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

error94:remark:Composite instrument MDI compares its hour counter with the controller's hour counter
causes:When the controller and/or the composite instrument MDI, are replaced, the two hourcounters are compared.
The new component has 0 hours in memory and the hour counter of the other component still has the old data stored.
action:If error code 94 appears after the replacement of the controller, stop the truck to connect the Notebook. You have
only one minute to change the parameters "AUX FUNCTION #1" to "ON", which then transfers the MDI hour counter to the controller, else this hourcounter assumes the operating hours of
the controller.
If error code 94 appears after the replacement of the MDI, wait 1 minute until the controller has transferred its operating hours to the MDI.

Has the controller been changed recently, the manual says there is a missmatch between the hours on the controller and the hours on the trucks hour meter.

You need a laptop or handheld programmer to repair the problem.

Set aux function #1 to on

hope this helps
