Steering calibration - Technical Troubleshooting discussion in Forkliftaction's forums

Toyota 8FD-30:
Steering calibration

I removed the steering angle sensor to do some work to the king pin and now i am getting E71-1 which I have worked out is steering angle sensor fault. Can any body tell me if and how to calibrate the steering angle sensor, or how to clear the code?

I did the same thing today. I was rebuilding the steer axle and now this code?? Did you figure out what the fix was?
I appreciate any input.
