"it's not rocket surgery"
I now make the official mandate that all business in North America must be conducted herewith in Lojban.
It's about time someone made a suggestion I can wholeheartedly support!

Ah, the ever changing constantly variable english language.Where one man's slang is another man's rule. From the hills of Tennessee to the clifffs of Dover we take the liberty of
making up as many words and their definition as we find in Websters dictionary.....Or the Queen's.....Or good king Charles should he ever be allowed.

If I understand you correctly, in England if one writes (or types) the letters it is being spelled rather than spelt. Seems to be the same way here. It is very hard to write (or type out loud). Yes I fully understand your last statement. And my response is professionals have tried to insult me and have failed so you really didn't have a chance of hurting my feeling (I only have one).

Johnr_j thank you for your reply. I certainly will not correct you on your American as I do come from there and so do not speak your language well enough to correct you, however just for the record in England the word "spelt" is the past tense for the word spell.

Ps. You may be interested to know that in England the word "spelled" means to write or name out loud the letters of a word for example - I D I O T....get it?

simon d - Just for the record "there ain't no such word as "spelt" (unless your from the backwoods of Georgia or a mountain top in Tennessee" Should have used spell check before you attempted to correct someone. The word you should have typed is "spelled"

"Have An Exceptional Day!"
If infact these forums are for helping other professional forklift people, then i would think the comments Simon has made are based on the fact that he is helping people not to get stung by companies that had been placed in administration, only then for the people who had run said companies start up again in a different guise, pretending they are doing the market a favour.
The market could do without such people who feel it is their right to start fresh without compensating the companies that have had to "take it on the chin" whatever debt the old company left behind. such behaviour is despicable & should not be aloud to taint our niche market again!!

You clearly have some wierd agenda, contradicting yourself.
I suggest you go back to work and do something productive.
You dont make alot of sense.
You say you have ordered something, then complain saying it has no price, then complain when it doesnt arrive. This is a market test ?
I would stop posting things here you are begining to look foolish.
You say this is a final shot, I hope so, you are doing your company no good here.
Remember forums are for helping each other within this industry, you seem to just want to moan about another company, go and do that somewhere else. Maybe a lunatic assylum !

My final shot. dear Dandy you clearly have a very close, though doubtless unbiased, relationship with DPS. Nonetheless you are certainly entitled to your opinion, though I am not sure what could be WORSE than legal action. You do make one very good point. Tom Brown did indeed order 1 wheel from DPS as a market test. Who wouldnt ? The price was £ ZERO. Mind you , he is still waiting for the wheel to arrive.

I would be careful writing comments like this as it looks to me like you are in danger of committing libel.
I would check your facts regarding ownership of companies first and not air your grievances and dirty washing in public. It could back fire and look like TEP Technica is pursuing a personal vendetta against a specific person rather than following the correct and proper channels.
I wouldn't be surprised if you received some legal response OR WORSE regarding these comments.
I understand from them that you have in fact placed orders yourself with this company as recently as last week. Tom Brown from your company TEP Technica has ordered from this company, so I would be very careful not to look like a hypocrite or an IGNORAMUS at the very least.
This forum is designed to assist the industry in the supply of goods, I would suggest if you have issues regarding companies you deal with them another way, it would be alot cheaper for you to avoid being sued the **** out of.

the best answer is direct parts supply co uk
their prices are very reasonable. What they do is bench mark their discounts against the list price of the relevant oem.
alot of independent suppliers are selling regardless of oem prices and in many cases are selling in excess of manufacturers list price.
I use them all the time for all brands

JUSTINMcLIFT- Why don't you set an account up with me if you have no were to go. I am a full stocking yale dealer and have full access to s.m.h.

Im my opion s.m.h. should not sell to independents or people off the street direct. You should have to go to a authorized dealer.

If SMH wont let you in, I have found that in this economy your local vendors will fight for your parts biz. I had a list of my common wearables and some of my more expensive items compiled and solicited bids from all sources, and kinda played one against the other until I got the pricing close. I get some items from one and some from another and they are so desperate for sales they even run them out to my location when needed!! Dont know the overseas conditions, but in So. Cal its pretty terrible for all the equipment guys.
