We have a fairly new Hyster electric forklift that came from the dealer with a single point battery fill and gravity feed tank.
Usually when we connect the water it will fill then when the flow indicators stops spinning we disconnect it and off we go. Recently, the water seems to just keep filling until it starts to flow out of the top of the first battery that the filling system is connected to.
Any idea why it wouldn't stop on it's own anymore?
Thank for any help or info!

These are all short term solutions. If the flow and pressure is correct they should shut off consistently. Various systems all have specific fill requirements. There is a reason it is not working correctly.
I usually keep a screwdriver handy when I fill a single point watering system. If water starts leaking from a stuck float I'll tap the top of the offending cap with the plastic handle. If it doesn't stop leaking, it can be removed and cleaned with tap water. Usually a few taps work.
There are some of the floats that tend to stick. If it is under warranty I would contact the supplier and have them check the floats.
