We seem to be having a heck of a time with this, origionally the complaint was it was struggling to lift capacity 6000#. I set all the pressures so and wasn't working to bad. then somehow they managed to lift 12000# and flipped the machine, all is well. The relief pressure somehow went up to 4200 psi from 3200 psi, I've never seen relief pressure go up, only down, the pressure was lowered and so far so good, does sound familier to anyone? Also the relief was replaced before because it could only manage 1300 psi.

I've had a simular fault on a c4800. you couldn't set the pressure to over 900psi. a previous company had replaced the hydraulic pump which cleared the fault temporarilly. on further inspection myself and a colleague found the over pressure valve adjuster on the valve block( nearest the cab} had come loose from the adjuster seating, which is just screwed in. after making a insertion tool , refitted the valve and adjusted up to correct pressure.. all to date is still okay and that repair was 8 months ago

easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.
