Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) GP35K:
running rich

We have this Cat which is running rich. Can't lean it out.
Serial AT13E-50002.
It has the O2 sensor which we changed and did all the tune up etc. Its Impco with a Model 60 mixer. Engine getting a bit tired but runs well. Might have slightly lower vacuum etc than required to run the system.
We have heard there is kit available to change it from drive by wire to conventional throttle and cable and mixer. Anyone have any idea of who sells it and what the part # is.

Raising service to a new level.

Edward is correct there is no kit and changing this from what it currently is would create all kinds of issues. Your best bet and the cheapest would be to fix it correctly.

it would be breaking US and more than likely Canadian emission rules to convert the system. and I don't think there is a "kit" as much as pulling an earlier truck up next to it and matching the earlier parts.
