Small capacity turbo charged petrol engines seem to be catching on here in the UK.
The fuel consumption is nearly as good as a diesel & it doesn't need a DPF, dual mass flywheel or special LOW saps oil to protect the DPF either.

As for diesel powered forklifts, the new Toyota 1ZS diesel engine option doesn't need a DPF to meet the required emissions standard.
