Hi Multiblokk,

Full truck model and serial number would be very helpful.

With the info you have supplied, the engine type could be :-
BEQ or BXT or BEU or BJC.
The only way to find the correct motor is with the engine number ( the number you supplied was only the cylinder head ID )
These engines do match up to VW BORA,POLO,GOLF and BEETLE.

I would not try to fit an engine from a car, you will have many problems with the engine sensors location also missing sensors ( not fitted ).

The best way forward would be to get yours rebuilt or fit a new correct motor ( rebuilt is the best price option ).

You will need Linde Pathfinder to set up the engine and truck on completion of the repair.

The usual cause for crank failure in this manner could be engine to transmission coupling failure or impact through the engine by using the truck for pushing with high impact on truck direction changes.
