Maybe Eastern employees are reading this forum?
Modern Handling's collapse is quite noticeable in the greater Philadelphia area.. I came into this business in the mid ninties, I never worked for them, but they were regarded as great company to work for or with. Many techs that I worked with left to go work there , I might have too, except that that I don't like working on hysters. I'm pretty sure none of those guys that worked with back then are still there, most of them were A+ techs too.
Since Yale and Hyster are pretty much identical these days I don't see any big advantages to having both under one roof, except for service and fleet contracts, but that is a big enough piece of the pie that I wouldn't turn it down.
IIf more dual dealers are in NMHGs future plans, it would make sense to make the model lines distinct, like one of the earlier posts suggested.
