'Forklift used to photograph nesting birds
HALIFAX, United Kingdom

Paul Thewlis stood on a pallet on a forklift, 30 feet in the air, for half an hour to take this photograph.

Thewlis and his co-workers in a UK workshop did not hear the birds nesting in their workshop because of machinery noise, according to the Evening Courier newspaper, which invites readers to submit "great nature photographs".

When Thewlis noticed the birds, he photographed them as the mother wren was feeding her chicks.

A day later, the birds flew away
