without a doubt, you need to repack the center lift cylinder, and check the little valve in the base of the rod, be sure to pack the base of the rod as well as the gland nut, what is happening is that oil is seeping up over the piston seal, and unless you run the cylinder to the top of it's stroke, you have oil above the piston, between the piston and the gland nut.
