We have sold the Starke line for a. Couple of years and have several units in our rental fleet. Ours is a mixed fleet of Unicarrier, Toyota, Hyster and Starke. We started slow because we were a little leery of quality having had experience with other lines like Heli and King. We have been very happy with our Starkes. They see just as much abuse as our other lifts and we make fewer service calls on them. Many of our rental customers request them when asking for another machine. They like the power and quick hydraulic response. This year we have expanded our Starke equipment inventory and are glad we did. Parts have been very easy to get and response from Starke has been great. A lot of after market parts are available if you know what to look for. If you look at most of the major brands today, more and more parts are proprietary. Manufacturers have found the largest profit is in parts and are keeping it in their house.
