The 2 Mazda motors listed both have overhead cams, the gm 3.0 is a cam in block- pushrod engine. It would have a stamped steel valve cover vs an aluminum formed one on the Mazda's. The Mazda's don't have a balancer assy as far as I know- just the front pulley which is secured by multiple small bolts to a hub assy which has a bolt through it in the middle to the crank
