don't take this to the bank as this is my understanding of the raymond product.
as you lower valving on the pump gets activated closing the dump line to the tank forcing hydraulic oil through the pump instead which causes the pump to drive the motor.
on this raymond truck aux functions are controlled by the aux motor so asking for any other functions would just turn on the aux motor. lift motor only runs lift, i imagine on a reach with one pump motor for all hydraulic functions the regen ability would have to be cut and pump fired back up to perform a hyd. function.
